Terms of Use

Last updated 27 October 2026. These terms are the end-user license for the Partisan AI apps and the browser teaser. If you do not agree, do not use them.

The service

Partisan AI is an educational simulator. Personas argue from published ideological traditions so you can study them and practice debate. A persona is not a person, a lawyer, a campaign, or a news desk. Nothing it says is professional advice.

Free tier

The free tier includes the Constitutional Conservative, Progressive Liberal, and Classical Libertarian personas, study chat, free sparring, and a limited number of messages that refill on a rolling 24-hour window. Optional rewarded messages may add a small allowance. Ranked three-round matches are not included.

Subscriptions

Pro is $2.99 per month. Pro+ is $9.99 per month. Prices are in US dollars before tax and may differ by storefront. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel in the subscription settings of the store that billed you. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. We do not provide partial refunds for an unused portion of a period. Refund requests go to Apple or Google under their policies.

Pro and Pro+ remove the free message cap and include ranked matches. Pro+ also unlocks the personas that sit behind the higher ad-unlock count. Features can change, but a change will not take away a period you have already paid for.

Your conduct

You will not use Partisan AI to plan violence, crime, or harassment, to dox anyone, or to generate sexual content involving minors. You will not try to break the rate limit, spoof match scores, or impersonate the judge. Handles must be 3 to 20 characters and may not be reserved or offensive. We may reset a handle or a rating that was obtained by abusing the interface.

You keep the text you type. You give us permission to send that text to the model provider for the turn, and to store the non-text telemetry described in the Privacy Policy.

AI-generated content

Replies and ballots are generated by a model, or by a deterministic offline mock when no live provider is configured. They can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken about a case, a statistic, or a quotation. The judge's score is an educational rubric, not an official tournament result and not a statement of political fact. Do not cite a persona as a source. Check primary texts yourself.

The shareable ballot is a copy of the card on your device. Sharing it is your choice. The line "Tested on Partisan AI" means the match was scored inside this product. It is not an endorsement of either side.

The browser teaser

The website allows two messages with the three free personas. It is a demonstration, not the full app. Ranked play and the other personas require the installed app.

Availability

The engine can be rate limited, offline, or answered by a fallback model. We do not promise uninterrupted access. Message allowances and Elo are game statistics for this product. They have no cash value.

Termination

You may stop using Partisan AI at any time. We may suspend access that breaks these terms. The license ends when you stop using the app, except for sections that should survive, including the AI disclaimer and the limit on liability.

Liability

The apps are provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from a reply, a ballot, or a subscription. Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law permits.
